Lo mein what type of noodles

Great recipe. Thanks for sharing. Thank you Lindsay for that nice recipe. I had no different soy sauces so I took the one I have at home, I also exchanged sugar for vegan honey synthetic produced without bees.

I also added a few more veggies because in our household we love veggies. This is a keeper and will be made very soon again. Love how quickly this comes together. Looks to be easily reheatable too. Question, could I use rice noodles here? I bought some for pad thai totally different cuisine, I know! Also, would rice vinegar work instead of mirin? Yes on the rice noodles, not sure on the rice vinegar. Mirin is a super sweet rice wine, not acidic like vinegar.

Just made this with ricewine vinegar and agave nectar with rice ramen and its delicious! Oh man. This reminds me of your vegetarian pad Thai which is almost a weekly thing for us so I have a feeling this is going to find its way into our permanent rotation. It was simple to make and very flavourful! No picture either. Which one did you mean to recommend? This is the ramen I use! I will update the link in post. This recipe looks amazing! Loved the video as well. Watched the FBP live about video a few days ago.

Love all your videos so much. Thanks Debs! We are excited to put together some tutorials soon for how we are doing these videos! One thing my kids can always agree on is anything noodles or Asian! This will be perfect for a busy night! I am loving it. I never had a clue that Lo Mein was that easy to make. This is a serious game changer here. I guess I know what I am eating this week!

This look absolutely incredible. Yes please. Thank you for sharing. Thanks, Heather! I hope it still works! Not even the Asian market! Love the 15 minute Lomein.

Did a couple subs because on the fly but my husband liked it. Trying to eat primarily plant based and he begged me NOT to make any more beans!! I just made this Lo Mein recipe, using some rotisserie chicken for a quicker weeknight meal. Also, since i luuuuv the spicy sesame dressing from your Korean BBQ bowls, I added grated ginger, garlic and Sambal oelek to the sauce. This was good. I used soba noodles. I will make this again. Should I boil the noodles first according to package instructions?

I made this recipe and boiled the noodles first. The sauce was not enough, even though I only used grams fresh steamed thick chow mein noodles. I would have to make the sauce again and add to it. Made this a few times now with different veggies. Always a hit and even warms up great for leftovers I learned to double the recipe after the first batch was gone in a flash. Highly recommend!! For me, everything is about the sauce.

My husband loved this but I did find that my sauce sort of congealed when I added it to the pan. Do you think I had my heat too high? The end result was very thick and sticky, rather than slippery. I want to try again and see if I can make it more wet like your video. I killed the heat and added some boiling water to help loosen it up and that helped some. Tried it, loved it … as we do all your recipes! Yes this is the second time I have made it I change it up a little bit every time. I had a little Housin sauce and pickled red peppers and whatever veggies I have on hand.

Also a tbl of Siracha. Plus I used firm tofu for the protein. It taste delicious. Made this for dinner tonight. I used tofu puffs as my partner is vegetarian. Turned out Amazing! My girlfriend kicked me out of the house after trying this. The texture was thick and slimy!!! Thank you for all your wonderful recipes. Toss to coat. Heat oil in a wok or large heavy based skillet over high heat until smoking. Add chicken, stir until white on the outside, still raw inside - 1 minute. Add noodles, Sauce and water. Loved this recipe. I used already cookied tail off x-small shrimp. I only made one tweak. I boiled my lo mein noodles in chicken stock. Which I reserved a little of the liquid to cook the veggies and to thicken instead of cornstarch.

I also made your lemon chicken a few times now , but finally thought to grab a picture before I dig into my left overs even better the next day. I made egg fried rice as well.
