Why does channel 5 keep freezing

Anyway i shall never be using any channel 5 products again what a load of crap. Absolute waste of time using this App. Forces you to watch 7. No thanks! Please allow a small subscription so that some like me can skip watching loads of adverts.

Having to watch 5 mins advert before a program starts is bad especially when I only want to watch 5 mins before commuting to watch it fully. I can watch programs with no adverts overload while I workout what I want to comm it to watch. Not fit for purpose. Upon exit it turns upside down. Re opening it you get no sound Then, before you can watch the program you were streaming you frequently have to watch another set of adverts.

The cynical amongst us might suggest that this may not be entirely accidental as they get paid for the adverts. Forced to watch a load of adds and not then be able to watch the program.

Great programmes. Something for everyone. East to access. Good variety. Great quality programmes. A pleasure to watch and a great help during Covid. Glitchy app and far too many adverts. How hard can it be to show the actual show mentioned in the title! Too many adverts that cannot be skipped or avoided. Sort it out my5. I would willingly pay a monthly fee, and give a 5star rating, to avoid having to watch up to 6 adverts during every break in the programme I am watching. When it finally - eventually!

When these glitches happen, there seems to be no way of returning to the home screen and starting again. Urgh, this app is the absolute worst on Firestick. Always crashes, either by coming up with an error code or just kicking you out back to the firestick home page. This has happened at least half the time. The pause button and lack of short rewind can be very frustrating. This is potentially a really good channel but every time I first go in each night half way through what am watching it kicks me out!

I then have to go back in thinking it will continue were I left off but no, I have to start from the beginning. Whoever designed this app, ever heard of Picture in Picture?

This is the worst streaming app of all. To rewind or fast forward you have to do it completely blind. The only way to get to where you want is to guess via the time stamp. All the other apps have rewinds that show you where your at as your go back.

YouTube, Netflix, Amazon all let you see where you are as you rewind. This is the first time I have turned this programme off. This was obviously planned for maximum impact.

This woman was just complaining about men wolf whistling. What a joke. Love the app but can i request you add a forward 10 seconds and rewind 10 seconds like the BBC iplayer and Netflix then it would be perfect.

I have to delete app and reload and then re login to my account. Very frustrating. Have had to do this at least 4 times in last month. Way too many ads. I gave up watching the program in the end. Too painful. Also, crashes frequently when trying to navigate the app. I'm sorry but this app is absolute rubbish seems to have a lot of bugs like when I click on a video it comes up with the age question asking if your over 16 so I put yes and then after all the ads it came up again and asked me again so I click yes watch more ads and what do it do it takes me to it again and it done this one more time anyway after that the program started but then half way through that it just crashed and it went back to my fire tv home page.

They need to sort this because this happens mostly every video u watch!!! Trying to watch episodes of a series, I get several ads prior to each episode, very often being tossed out of the episode I have selected, and forced to rewatch the same 5 ad selection before I gain access to that episode. I would give this app 0 stars if I could. This app is so annoying. I know that they have to be there but if I stop viewing and then resume a day later the programme starts with adverts.
